Chapter 9: Lex’s Gift

However, Chloe’s hear a series of steel hitting sounds, like bullets hit on a thick steel plate.

She subconsciously touched her body and found that she was fine. She opened her eyes. One person blocked the bullets rushing towards Chloe.

“What’s the situation?”

Not only Chloe, but many people in the scene watched the gangsters shoot at the two teenagers.
