Chapter 12: Special Welcome Ceremony
“Profit.”
With the sound of the password, the stone wall in front of him cracked towards both sides, forming a narrow gap for people to pass through.
The gap was pitch black, and some flickering green lights could be seen vaguely.
“Come with me.”
Following the flow of people, Uvogin passed through the gap, and after a long dim corridor, he finally saw the Slytherin lounge.
This is a long, narrow, low basement. The surrounding walls and ceiling are made of rough stones. The round lamp with green light is chained and hung from the ceiling. A beautifully carved mantelpiece, under which a fire crackled.
Even so, the lounge looked dark and cold.
Around the mantelpiece was a ring of carved wooden chairs, where a few Slytherins who had returned early were sitting, their faces illuminated by the bright fire.
Green silk was hung on the surrounding walls, as well as tapestries of different styles, which were supposed to describe the famous adventures of the Slytherin people. Uvogin even saw a few skulls, which were placed as decorations On the display cabinet not far away.
Behind the mantelpiece, the most eye-catching thing is the window of the lounge. Unlike other houses, the Slytherin lounge window looks out on the deep dark, green gleam of the Black Lake.
“As you can see, the lounge is transformed from an abandoned dungeon. During the transformation process, the designer geniusly extended part of the dungeon to the bottom of the lake, which made Slytherin the only one of the four Houses. You can get a glimpse of the academy in the depths of the Black Lake.” Standing in front of the window of the lounge, Senior Farley said quite proudly.

In Slytherin, you only became Prefect when you are the strongest in that term.
And currently Gemma Farley is strongest in whole Slytherin House, except teachers.
Uvogin stay on his place, while rest of boys and girls seperated into their own dormetory.
Gemma pointed on a table beside the window, and walked towards it.
Gemma took over the seat, and Uvogin also took the seat on the opposite side.
Gemma didn’t talk for a very long time, and Uvogin also didn’t asked why she stopped him.
Two of them sitting in the same place for a very long time, and finally she looked at Uvogin’s eyes with her beautiful blue eyes.
I have to say, Gemma is really on the most beautiful girl in Slytherin house.
“You are pretty brave, kid.”
Uvogin smiled, and accepted the compliment.
“If I didn’t act brave, I don’t think I will be able to handle bullying…”
Gemma looked at carefully at Uvogin, and said: “Don’t be kidding. Just based on strength alone, you are a walking monster… I am not sure even if I can defeat you…”
Hearing this, Uvogin eyes immediately became sharp.
Seeing this sign, Gemma smile became even more brighter.
Her guess was really right.

Gemma didn’t care about Uvogin vigiliance, and started to tell.
“My Farley family is ancient wizard family. The member of these family usually borned with a powerful eyes.”
“Usually awakening of this ability is bit hard, but I am one of those unusal ones. So my family has great hopes for me…”
Uvogin didn’t want to listen this shit, and directly asked: “Don’t beat around the bush, and tell me what you want?”
“I heard what you did to Draco Malfoy and his team in the train. I want to learn that technique.”
Uvogin finally understand her purpose.
Uvogin sighed and said: “Miss Farley, you have to know that this is just a brute technique, which was mostly used to fight like Giants and Trolls. That technique will really not suit a noble pure blood girl like you.”
Slyness flickered in Gemma’s eyes, and said: “Don’t try to butter me up. In front of these eyes, you really can’t lie.”
Uvogin look at these blue eyes which are really piercing. He shook his head, “Even if it was useful, why should I teach you. What kind of benefit I get from teaching you?”
“Just like every Wizard family have their secret magic, and they don’t teach outside their member. I have some secrets as well.”
Hearing this, Gemma finally turned silent.
This is the biggest problem she was facing.
She can’t give Veritaserum to Uvogin, and force him to tell these magic.
Definitely Dumbledore and other teacher will stop him.
She also can’t use force, because this guy strength really is strong, as she felt.
But a technique which can give you the strength of a giant without using wand, this kind of magic is really precious.
After thinking a lot, she said: “How about this, I am in 5th year, so I will stay in Hogwarts for 3 more year. How about I will protect you for these 3 years?”
Uvogin looked at seriously, and asked: “Do you really think I need protection?”
Gemma immediately shook her head, but smiled: “Definitely you don’t need my protection, but name can really stop some foolish guys who wants to disturb you. And I don’t think you want to showcase your strength right now…”
Hearing this, Uvogin really think that is feasible.
But Uvogin has some other plan completely.
“How about this, I will teach you a magic which can slow down your aging process, and you can stay younger for around 50 or 60 years…”
Hearing the word younger, Gemma eyes started to shine.
For girls, staying young is really one of the most important need.
“Are you kidding?” Gemma with bit trembling voice.
Uvogin shook his head, and said: “Not kidding… My real age is around 15, but I still looks like an 11 years old kid. The more I live, the slower I age… How about it, do you want it?”
Gemma immediately nodded her head.
“Okay, but for the next 3 year, before you pass the Hogwarts, I want you to work for me.”
Gemma face immediately showed some resistance.
“Don’t worry, I won’t ask you for sexual favors. Just profession.” Uvogin reassured.
“Okay, but what you want? Want me to do your homework?” Gemma teased.
“No, something much more interesting… Okay, I am going to sleep. You find a good place for training, I will teach you ‘Ten’.”
Gemma immediately agreed.
Longer youth… maybe soon this desired will be fulfilled.
