Chapter 11: Teaching!

All four of them were shocked when they heard this voice, and turned around.

Rocky saw an old man standing at the corner, and looking at Rocky seriously.

“There is no rule that I can’t teach my friend something.” Rocky said lazily.

“Do you know how much chaos this kind of thought can create? What if you teach a bad person about Nen? Do you know how many people he kill? What will you do then?”

Isaac Netero questioned Rocky seriously.

“What are you saying, President Netero? In this world, there is no absolute bad or absolute good person. I can guarantee you must have also done various thing which do not agree with your conscious.” Rocky cross questioned.

Isaac Netero turned silent.

Rocky word is absolute on the point. He know that if there is hell, then after that he will definitely have position in the depth of hell.

As for going to heaven, it was impossible.

“I know, I have done lots of mistake. But I don’t want you to do the same mistake.” Netero sighed and suggested.

“Hahahahaha!! Grandpa Netero! If I make mistake for helping my friends, then I am willing to make the same mistake over and over again.” Rocky said this with firm voice.

After that, Rocky turned around and walked towards his room.

Gon, Kurapika and Leorio looked towards Netero, and finally followed behind Rocky.

Netero saw this scene, and a bright smile appeared on his face.

He didn’t stop them anymore, and went to arrange for the interview.

Rocky started teach them about Nen.

“Nen is a technique that allows a living being to use and manipulate their own life energy (known as aura). You must have sensed it before.”

Three of them nodded.

“There are two different ways to let you sense your aura. First, Meditation. It allowed you to slowly sense your life force, then use it.

Second is to open aura nodes, increases the flow of aura around you, and then you can sense your aura. This is faster way to do it.”

Leorio asked: “What is aura nodes?”

He is a doctor, and he really have the eagerness to know everything.

“Well, aura nodes are microscopic holes in our skin, which releases our life-force. because of this, we grow into adults, and then turned into old age, and die.” Rocky answered.

Leorio instantly counter question: “Doesn’t that means if we open our aura nodes, we will grow older faster rate.”

Rocky smiled and said: “Answer of this question is ‘Yes’, as well as ‘No’.”

“How can both be possible?” Gon asked in confusion.

This time Kurapika answered.

“It means that if we able to control our aura, then we will not age faster. But if we unable to control our aura, then we will age even more faster. Right?”

Kurapika looked towards Rocky.

Rocky nodded his head, and said: “If you able to control aura perfectly, then you even have chance to live 300 or 400 years.”

Leorio eyes almost pops out.

Increasing life-span… this is something not possible even with modern medicine.

“You have seen the president, Isaac Netero. He is world’s strongest Nen master. And he created Four Major Principles of Shingen-Ryu school of Kung fu.”

Rocky kept on explaining.

“Ten is the process of keeping the nodes open, but also having aura flow through and around the body rather than away from it.

Ten maintains youthful vigor and reduces one’s aging, since the energy powering the body no longer leaks away; one can then keep the body from breaking down and deter the aging process. Ten is also the most basic defense against emotional Nen attacks, and it also offers limited protection against physical attacks, but hardly any when said attacks are enhanced with aura.”

“Zetsu stops the flow of aura from their body altogether. By closing all of their aura nodes, the user is able to halt all outflow of their aura like water from a valve, making their presence much harder or even impossible to sense.

Zetsu can also be used to relieve fatigue, since it forces the body’s external layer of aura to be fully contained within. For the same reason, it can be dangerous due to it leaving the body defenseless against any aura attack. Even a weak attack enhanced with Nen can do massive damage. Since even the thin protection offered by Ten is gone, a Zetsu user is also particularly susceptible to hostile emotional attacks, resulting in their mind becoming as vulnerable as their body.”

“Ren focuses on outputting a larger amount of aura than Ten, projecting it outwards explosively. This amplifies the user’s physical strength and durability and provides a large pool of aura for any advanced techniques or individual skills they decide to use, albeit at the cost of expending said aura. If Ten is considered purely defensive, Ren can be regarded as its offensive counterpart, although it also grants the user vastly enhanced defensive abilities.”

“And Hatsu is just the special ability you create with your Nen. Which is much higher version. You don’t need it right now.”

Rocky explanation is finally over. He asked: “Now, who is ready to try?”

Gon and Kurapika instantly picked their hand.

As for Leorio, he is hesitating.

His first problem is that he looks much older than others. Plus there is life risk.

“First let them try, I will come last.”

Leorio said.

Rocky nodded, and looked towards Kurapika and Gon, and said: “Okay, remove your upper body clothes.”

Gon and Kurapika done it immediately, and sit in front of Rocky.

Rocky fold his sleeves, and put hand behind them.

“Are your ready?”

“Yes!” Gon and Kurapika said.

Rocky hand suddenly started to release his aura in shockwave form.

Gon and Kurapika grit their teeth in pain, but none of them shouted.

Rocky was opening someone else aura nodes for the first time. So he didn’t dare to use too much aura instantly.

But with precaution, it took his around 10 minutes to open all of their aura nodes.

Gon and Kurapika looked at each other in shock.

They saw fog like thing coming out of their body.

“Is this life-force?”

Kurapika asked.

Rocky nodded his head, and said: “Yes, and you are loosing it. Try to control this aura, and let it surround yourself.”

As expected, Kurapika and Gon are really son of heavens (protagonist).

In less than a minute, they able to control their aura.

“This is just marvelous. I feel my strength increased atleast 3x times.” Kurapika said.

Leorio came to ask Gon and Kurapika how they feel.

Its just feeling of using aura is something they really can’t tell in words.

Soon Leorio also decided to go for it, and he also opened his aura nodes.

Its just he is not as talented as Gon and Kurapika, and it took him more than an hour before he able to control his aura, and use ‘Ten’ within manageable range.

Soon a announcement appeared.

[In a while, The President will receive you for a conversation. When you’re called, please come to the first reception room of the first floor.]

[Candidate #44. We ask you please come to the reception room!]

Hearing the notification, Rocky said: “Let’s settle this interview problem first. Now you already taken the first step towards Nen. You just need to practice constantly.”

Each of them nodded, and then all four went towards the first floor.

Soon Hisoka came out, and looked towards Rocky to smile.

[Candidate #111. We ask you please come to the reception room!]

“Its my turn!” Rocky walked forward.

“Hey, Best of Luck!” Gon and Leorio said, while Kurapika is busy controlling his aura.
