Chapter 9: Reason
Ace enters into the kitchen and found Nami and Nojiko talking about something.
Ace didn’t care about them, and directly took a bottle of rum, and as he about to find a quiet place to drink, a sudden voice comes.
“Hey, Do you want me to make you some chilled cocktails?”
Nojiko smiled and asked.
After looking at the face of Nojiko, Ace already understood, they are planning something. But he just doesn’t care.
This cocktail idea is given by Ban. When Nojiko told that she wants to be the best chef in the world, Ban gave her lots of recipes and some ideas to make cocktails, bartenders.
Nojiko recently made coconut lemon whiskey zin cocktail. This really increases the taste and kicking power of alcohol.
After tasting it, Ace really think that this is heaven.
Just after two pegs, Ace is in full mood.
Nami is an expert in interrogating, so she takes the position.
“Hey, Ace. Today, Ban looked so scary.”
Ace looked up, and his eyes are red, but he didn’t say anything.
“We both are cursed brother, so if you want to have a worry-free life, please leave this pirate group.”
“Once the Navy discovered our past, anyone who is in touch with us will be killed in the most brutal way.”
After saying that Ace stood up, and start walking like a drunk man.
Ban is alone sitting on the watchpoint of Navy. He doesn’t know why his emotions are getting heavier as he get into the South Blue.
It looks like Ace gets all the talent of Parents, and he gets all the memories of his mother and disease of his father.
He doesn’t clearly remember, but her mother’s helplessness of every second, he can feel it. Whenever he feels this helplessness, he just burned down the whole world for her.
Can you imagine the pain, when a woman carries her two children in her stomach, and tried to hide from Navy? Every second she feels that someone will come from the door and kill her children.

That Navy Hero is also a great man, who promised to save his best friends wife and child, but can’t save his wife.
That Navy Hero let Ace died in front of his eyes, and gave dialogue ‘Sengoku, don’t let me go, or else I will kill Sakazuki’. He is really a great hero.

Ban looks around, and suddenly smile. It looks like, someone comes to send their boat to us.
“Ace, you handle the situation here, I am going to their boat.”
Before Ace can say something, Ban jumped into the sea.
His swimming speed is really good, so it didn’t take a while, and he reached the pirate boat.
Because he didn’t want to damage his new ship, he has to kill everyone quickly.
When Ban wants to kill someone faster, he always uses a sword knife to cut the throat.
Fighting and killing is totally different thing.
A small boy suddenly took out snot from his nose and throw at Ban.
Ban didn’t think too much, and cut the snot.

That snot just blasted like a bomb.

Ace also took their Navy ship near the pirate ship.
Ace on the deck and looked at the condition. He knows that Ban killed almost everyone.
“Ace, go and check the condition of the whole ship, if anyone is still alive, take him to me.”
“Nami Nojiko, you start to short out the items. If something is heavy, then inform me, I will take care of that.”
Ban starts to pick bodies, and throw them in seas.
In two minutes, Ace took one guy and a little girl out.
“Ban, she is being held captive, and he is the pirate.”
Ban look towards the girl and thought something. Is she not the Jewelry Bonney?
Pink hair, cute face, and relation with Ace.
“Hey, what are you planning to do with this girl?”
Ban looked towards the pirate and asked: “Boss….Boss… please let me live… I have 2 years old daughter and 90 years old grandma to take care of.”
“Ace, if he doesn’t answer properly, cut his hand next time.”
Ban smiled towards Ace, and took out the knife.
Currently, Ace didn’t have his Fire Devil Fruit. He has to fight with hands only, so, for safety purpose, he carries a knife as well.
Pirate directly wet his pants, but Ban didn’t let him go like this.
“We are planning to sell this girl as a slave to the auction house. Please let me go…. I will not do this again…. I have a 2 years old daughter.”
Ban pointed towards the pink-haired girl and asked: “Is she not someone’s daughter?”
“Ace, cut all of his limbs and then throw him into water.”
Ace just about to do it, but the girl said: “Can I do this? They killed my maid.”
Ban nodded.
Ace the knife to Bonney. Before anyone can react, Bonney cut down four limbs of the pirate. Pirate is just kept screaming.
After that, Ban looked towards her and asked: “Do you need a small boat to return to your village?”
“No, everyone is killed. Only I am left alive. I am just like a curse, that anywhere I go, everyone dies.” Jewelry Bonney started to cry. She really doesn’t know what to do now. She escaped from the world government, and her last supporting partner is also got killed today.
Ban smiled and said: “Then little girl, you are like us. We are also the curse to this world. Why not conquer this world with us? and show the world that never messes with the curse like us.”
Ace also smiled.
“Are you sure, you want me to join? Maybe you will also die because of me.”
Bonney looked towards them with hope.

Bonney wants to know more about Ban, but she knows that asking about other secrets is a bad habit.

Ban touched the Navy Warship, and return to his own pirate ship.

“But to where?”
Nami suddenly asked.
Ban asked Nami: “How much time it will take from here to Baterilla Island.”
Nami checked on the map, and said: “It will take around 2 months.”
Ban thought for a while, and said: “Ok, start riding in that direction, but don’t tell anyone about our final destination.”

The whole ship blasted like a big bomb.
