Chapter 5: Trace Magic
As Andros keeps wondering, Andros saw a very weird poster in front of Minister of Magic branch in Diagon Alley.
This poster is related to the kids who were expelled from different magic colleges from Europe.
Andros face darkens when he thought that he will be expelled from college, just because he is underage and use magic outside Magic world.
This is really a bad sign.
Andros went forward, and keep this thing in mind.
Andros really wants to understand how Ministry of Magic determines which person has used magic in front of muggle.
Is it because the wand is registered to the Ministry of Magic?
Maybe…
Because if this is the case, then Andros definitely not able to use wand outside magic world, unless he became adult.
And using wand is really crucial for him to get those talisman.
Maybe those ancient magic family knows, but problem is that although he belongs to ancient magic family, he was completely left alone.
He is no different from those Muggle borns, except he has the surname of Ancient Magic family.
Andros once again returned to Lihen Bookstore, because this is biggest bookstore available in Diagon Alley.
Immediately a beautiful lady clerk come out to greet Andros, because just a few hours ago, he saw Andros purchased book worth more than 170 Galleon from another clerk.
If that clerk get 10% of the sales, then that lucky bastard gonna earn 17 Galleons in just one day.
This is almost the salary of 2 months of these sales clerk.
It’s just this girl looks bit different from normal human.
She has some scales on her bodypointy hair.
She enthusiastically asked: “Sir, how can I help you?”
“Beauty, I need to ask you something personal!!”
Andros also show the rich guy attitude, and asked.
Suddenly female clerk face turned bit dark, but she bit her lips, and said: “100 Galleons for 1 night!!!”
This is time when Andros got shocked.
It’s not that he can’t afford this price, but he never thought this kind of service can even be provided in the magic world.
Seeing Andros face filled with shock, female clerk eyes got bit wet, and she said: “Okay, 50 galleons. But I can’t get lower than this. My mother needs Hippntsu anti-Poison potion.”
This female clerk name is Martha. She is one of the mixed blood in Magic world.
She is a mixed blood with Werewolf and human.
This mix blood allowed her to control her werewolf transfer, but it will not stop her mother.
Her mother is a full blown werewolf, and she transformed werewolf every month.
Previously his father was constantly collecting money to purchase Wolfbane potion every month. But just last month wolfbane potion accidently got destroyed.
And result is that, her mother has eaten her husband, and result forced Martha to work herself.
As for joining Hogwarts to learn magic, it was impossible. After all, if every kid who got awakened magic entered into Hogwarts, then Hogwarts has to train more than 500 childrens from only britain.
Which is not possible. Hogwarts only select 40 students from whole Britain community. And selected candidate must have atleast 10 units of magic before the age of 11.
As for how Andros know this 10 unit, it’s because he got the Hogwarts admission notice and awaken his system when his magic amount in his body is 10 unit.
Andros immediately calm down, and took out baggage from his locket, and put in front of Martha.
“These are 100 Galleons, but first tell me how much is your salary in the book store?”
Martha was bit confused, and finally said: “10 Galleons a month.”
Andros nodded his head, and said: “You can take these 100 Galleons, but you have to work for me for 5 months. This will repay your debt.”
“Don’t worry, this is not related to prostitution. You just have work as house maid in my house.”
Hearing this, Martha immediately became excited.
One Wolfbane Potion cost around 37 galleon a bottle, which can be equivalent to a hogwarts professor half month salary.
Previously she can gather this much money in four months while working in bookstore. But now if she worked under Andros, she can gather it in just two months.
And even if this little kid took some benefit from me, it will be alright.
“Okay!! I agree.”
Andros passed 100 Galleons to the girl, and said: “Okay, you take the money, your mother need it. You can come to this place tomorrow around morning 5 AM, my House-elf will come here to direct you.”
Martha excitedly nodded her head, and run towards her house.
After that, Andros pointed towards another bookstore clerk, and took all the books related to Trace Magic, and how to avoid it.
Usually these books are not available to the public, but money can make ghost dance.
Almost all the magician family know about this knowledge, but only some families which ban this knowledge from their childrens. And these families are mostly Pro-Muggle family.
Carrow family is the family of black magician, and Andros needs this magic to work silently.
After doing all this, Andros returned his house.
As for the tension that Martha will return his money or not, he doesn’t care. After all, you can say that this is just a way to donate some money.
Andros himself spent his 11 years time in diseased condition, so when he heard that girl is willing to sell her body to buy medicine for her mother, he decided to donate.
But if you pay without asking something in return, people will think you as a fool. And Andros don’t want this to happen.
