Chapter 4: Started Training!

Needless to say, we had a great meal, everyone in the church ate meat for the first time, they were so happy that day, specially the little kids.

Although I am a kid myself, but I can’t help but feel like I am an old man looking at my grandkids eat good food.

I watched them eat to their heart’s content.

Asta and Yuno were also mesmerized by the delicious food we were having, they had gone out to play and I guess that is normal for their age.

They are still kids right now. Not the protagonists of a novel.

Becca called me, her face was filled with the meat.

“Yes, what is it,” I asked her gently.

“Will we eat meat tomorrow as well?” She asked me as Lily cleaned her cute little face.

“Yeah! we will eat meat every day from now on!” I told her.

“I won’t have to eat potatoes every day!” She said excitedly, I guess everyone was a little bit traumatized by those starchy and dry potato wannabee vegetables or are they fruits.

“No Rob, what you did today was dangerous you know!”

Father yelled as he looked at me seriously!

I looked at him as he looked at me.

“You can’t stop me!” I simply said to him, he clenched his fist.

I guess he was worried about me but I had to do it.

“Why would you want to do that?! Don’t you know how dangerous it is,” he asked me, I half expected him to shit me down as I am just a kid, but I guess he was a reasonable guy.

“Why do I do this! It’s because I want to, alright, what do we have, a couple of rooms, no fans, No resources, every day the children all have to sleep in a single room, sometimes we don’t even know if we will survive the next cold night or if we even have money for food…”

I said in a single breath, I hated to be that guy that kills the whole mood, I looked at father, his face hung low and I knew I had hurt him with my comments.

“Father, I know you are doing your best to support us, and to you, I am just a kid who doesn’t know any better, heck! I know I am way in over my head…” I said to him as I patted his shoulder.

God knows how much this guy suffered every day to raise us, he is my hero, others might think that having powers is what makes someone a hero or a villain.

Or that you needed superpowers to be a hero, but I guess people like him are real heroes, taking care of kids he doesn’t know and raising them as his own.

“I know I am just a kid to you, but to them, I am a big brother, I am their big brother, and I will do what it takes to give them a good life, just like you, old man!”

Father looked at me with surprise in his eyes, I guess he doesn’t get much appreciation for what he does, I might even be among his top five supporters or something.

“Yeah!! Rob is the best”

“We love both Father and Big brother!”

“Yeahhh! I also wanna kill a boar!” Asta yelled.

The guy would die before he even saw a thing.

Needless to say it took me a week or so to convince the old man to let me go hunting, this time I was much more ready to hunt.

I have been training for the entire 2 weeks.

Whenever he have little bit of strength, he started punching with all his strength.

Only punch thrown with full power counted by the system.

And it took him 3 days to earn 2 point.

In 2 weeks, he earned total 10 points.

I opened up the status view and saw my improvements.

Rob found that his strength increases exponentially as he continue to level up.

With Level 1 Haki energy, he can use Haki skill for a few seconds.

But physical strength alone increased a lot.

Based on this speed, I guess I will be able to contend against the magic knights by the time I become 15 years old.

I went into the forest, this time I easily killed the beast with a single punch.

This shows that he is getting stronger.

This feeling is really marvelous.

‘Alright, now that I am tired from punching, let’s start kicking.’

I started my daily exercise routine at the early morning.

Rob found that his system has some kind of error.

Only condition is that he has to use his full strength.

Luckily he doesn’t have to maintain Haki, otherwise he might not able to complete 10,000 punch in a year.
