Chapter 6: Getting Stronger

I quickly greeted them, then I went to the back of the church, the place is now at least liveable for me, and the other kids as well.

We now have a well and don’t need to go far for water supply, our food now consists of vegetables, rice and all kinds of meat.

I walked back inside and walked to the storage room, I had it set up to store most of my hunts, I didn’t need to sell them as I was making enough cash working for the merchant.

He was an amicable man that treats his workers right, I was given a wager according to the stuff I was carrying, with me in his group, he didn’t have to worry about his goods, as our village also buys from him and sells him.

Besides I am just a weak kid in his eyes so I guess I am kind of safe.

It takes me a week of work for me to earn money and come back home.

I deposited half the boars. and the fishes I caught inside it and closed the storage room, The kids clapped at my performance of having the things disappear and reappear.

I had the whole church renovated, the broken floors were fixed, and we now had beds for each member and a crib or two. The little kids, Learning material for other kids and the prayer room were also many cleaners.

The ceiling was also fixed and now we don’t have to worry about rain and snow leaking in, a chimney was installed since the winter is just around the corner.

Most of my wager is spent on the church.

Because I like to fight with fist and kicks, I don’t use weapons.

But I do have a armor, because I was not investing my points on Haki.

Its just soon Armor will not be required anymore.

Not only that, based on the knowledge of One Piece World, he also learned Shave skill, which allowed him to run very fast.

Its just this skill is also at level 1.

So I guess I am doing pretty good.

I stretched my body and then laid down for a while,

Asta came barging in as he jumped at me

Maybe Asta also has durability just like BigMom in One Piece..

“Oh my God!! What happened?” Came in Father, yelling as he saw the site of the destroyed wall

‘Sorry Asta, but this is on you!’ I silently prayed for him and threw him under the bus as I pointed at him, Asta seeing me pointing at him and an angry Father rushing at him decided it was better to run but alas he was caught and given a good spanking.

“That must be so painful!” I thought

Now that my small nap was ruined I decided to start training.

He had already trained the upper body by punching, so now kicking.

Rob came out of the church, and went to his usual training ground.

He had various combination of kicks, which almost like he was dancing.

Because he learned Shave technique, his legs became much more stronger than before.

According to his estimate, he will be able learn Tempest kick soon enough.

“Rob! Have you taken all your clothes!?” Father asked me, for the tenth time in an hour as I got my horse ready.

“Yes, Father I have all my belongings in here,” I said as I pointed to a bag I had prepared.

My armour were inside my inventory, ready to be equipped at any moment, the bag will also go in once I am done with it, I guess it’s a previous life problem or I am just clumsy, but I always forget some stuff behind so I have kept the bag out.

“That’s good then, remember to write to us, The other kids keep asking about you whenever you go out for long travels!” He advised.

“Don’t worry about him, The kids are just fine, Father himself keeps missing you so he is asking you to write to him.” Sister Lily arrived,

“Haha, don’t worry about me Father, you know I can always escape if things go wrong.” I told him.

“Hmph! I am not worried one bit, just go and earn some bread now, will you…” he harrumphed and turned around.

“I have to leave now, Sister Lily, Boss is waiting for me,” I told her and got the blessing of Father before I left.

Mr Leo was waiting for me on the outskirts of the village, he told me I would be getting double the wage after we complete this week’s work.

I will be staying with the group of merchants and their mages for a whole week.

“So, How about we deal with this and then start our journey, Rob!?” Leo asked me as he pointed at the carriage that had all the goods behind him.

I gave an ok and made my way inside the thing, no one was told about what my purpose is in this group, except for Leo, I was the one that came up with this arrangement in case one of their own turned against them, I don’t wanna earn an ugly death.

I went inside and looked at all the crates. I put those that were marked with red colour inside my inventory. Once I was done, I restarted moving.

I laid down inside the carriage full of goods and started punching.

It will take us a day to get to our next destination.

It took us a day to arrive at Rayaka village, I guess that’s the village of Magna, I never met the guy, but it’s normal since I haven’t looked for him either.

Besides, he is supposed to be a snotty brat right now, he won’t even have a grimoire.

Someone bumped into me, I would have fallen but training like hell for two years, which resulted in the opposite party being flung back.

The boy rubbed his face in pain

“Are you alright?!” I asked, as I held my hand forward for him

“I don’t need your help, bastard!” Rhe boy said as he started running away again.

‘Hmm, such an impolite guy’ I thought

‘Where is my wallet” I started looking in all my pockets

“Damn it! hey you, come back here!” I shouted at the boy, who had the guts to give me a mocking expression.

I gave chase, nobody had the right to steal from me, utilising the shave skill I was able to bridge our distance in a moment,

I appeared in front of the boy, who also summing a small ball of fire and threw it at me,

“Hmph, you will have to do better then that…” I mocked him, I crushed the ball of fire in my hands which was covered with Armament Haki.

It was measly and weak, nothing to be scared about.

“Eh! Don’t you dare underesti- gh!!”

The boy was about to begin his monologue before I punched him lightly in the gut, he buckled over and the wallet fell.

I took it from the ground and began checking the contents, once I was sure that everything was where it should be, I started walking away.

The boy shouted at me, any other kid would have tried by now.

“What is it! You want some more!” I asked him, scaring the boy a little

“No- I mean, this ain’t over, I will pay you back for this!” he pointed at me.

I didn’t pay him any mind and walked away, I wanna eat some good food, lets go to Yabi’s restaurant and have some meat and buns.

I thought and merrily left for my food, forgetting about the kid as my mind began filled with thoughts of food,

I have gained a big appetite for food.
